Veneers

Are you tired of walking around with unattractive teeth? At Classic Smiles Dentistry, we dedicate ourselves to helping you regain your lovely smile! At our dental practice in Austell, Georgia, we offer veneers to patients looking to improve the appearance of their teeth.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers sometimes referred to as dental veneers, are placed on the teeth in order to accomplish a wide variety of dental transformations.

The how and why of porcelain veneers

Porcelain veneers are a very successful option in situations where the original tooth has developed poor color, shape, and contour. It is also a good choice for fractured teeth, gaps between teeth, and in situations where the tooth position is compromised and there are minor bite-related problems. Porcelain veneers consist of several thin ceramic layers that replace original tooth enamel, and an adhesive layer. To apply a veneer, a very small amount of the original tooth enamel must be removed, usually less than a millimeter. This is essential as it creates room for the porcelain veneer to fit within the mouth and most accurately restore natural tooth function while creating an even better appearance than the original tooth. The bond between the original tooth and the porcelain veneer is critical. It provides not only the esthetic perfection desired but also a strong bond, which is essential for correct veneer function. A light-sensitive resin is placed between the original tooth and the veneer and then hardened using a special curing light.

Composite Veneers

Composite bonding is a minimal and non-invasive procedure done at Classic Smiles Dentistry that can improve the look of your teeth. It is the closest and more conservative approach to porcelain veneers. Composite resin is a tooth-colored filling material that may be used to form dental veneers. Composite veneers can be done and generally correct small cosmetic defects, needing at least two appointments, sometimes three. After the teeth are prepared or reshaped, the dentist carefully bonds and sculpts the composite material using a color that is best for you. Next, a special light is used to harden the composite to bond it to your teeth. Then the veneers are smoothed and polished to look like natural teeth.

Vinicia G. Vinicia G.

"This is by far the best dental experience that I have ever had! Nakecyia was super welcoming when I initially called. I tried calling three dentists prior to reaching this office and was put on hold for extended periods of time by the other offices. She took my call right away and helped schedule an appointment sooner than I even expected!! This was enough for me to tell my boyfriend to call right away and schedule and appointment because we were both looking for a dentist in the area. She accommodated him just the same! Then we met Dr. Nwadike and the rest of the staff and they all had the exact same welcoming personalities!!! I speak for myself and my boyfriend when I say that we would ABSOLUTELY recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a dentist. Thank you Dr. Nwadike and team!!!!"
